Meet Dave
Schwensen
|

|

Romano, Garth Brooks and many others. |
|

syndicated weekly newspaper humor column, Something
To Laugh About, was awarded First Prize by The Ohio Newspaper
Association for Best Original Column. Twenty of his favorite articles
about being a parent are included in his latest book Father's Days...
And Nights: Humorous Tales from the Frontlines of Fatherhood. |
|

|
Dave is
the author of Comedy
FAQ's And Answers: How The Stand-Up Biz Really Works, (Allworth
Press, NYC), and How To Be A Working Comic: An Insider's Guide To A
Career In Stand-Up Comedy, (Back Stage Books, NYC). His insider's
knowledge was earned as Talent Coordinator for the television show, A&E's An Evening At The Improv, and the legendary Improv Comedy Clubs
in Hollywood and New York City. |
|

|
While in that capacity, he also acted as
a comedian consultant for many television and film productions. Included
in that list are The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson AND Jay Leno,
Late Night with David Letterman, The Today Show, Comedy
Central, MTV, VH-1, HBO, Disney, Paramount, and other major television
networks and film studios. |
|
A nationally recognized comedy coach,
Dave's workshops
and seminars are sold-out events in New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland,
Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other locations. He has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Cleveland Plain Dealer,

Cleveland: Memories, Facts & Photos About The Notorious 1964 &
1966 Concerts, is a national best seller on Amazon.com, charting in the

Musicians. The book also reached the No. 1 position - numerous times
- for Items Sold In Northern Ohio. |
|
He has been featured on the

and Beatle Brunch, and as a guest author at the famed New York
Metro Fest For Beatles Fans. He has also been interviewed on radio,
television and in publications from Boston to Honolulu and throughout

Stay tuned... |

|
As a consultant,
trainer and keynote speaker, Dave emphasizes the productive value of using creativity and humor
as communication tools. A veteran of the
fast-paced, high-pressured entertainment industry in Hollywood and New
York, his message is real, experienced and simple: effective
conversational skills can ease stress, improve teamwork
and networking, and build better relationships. |
|
This concept is also behind the business courses he designed and
instructs at Cleveland State University, Youngstown State University and other 'halls of higher
learning,' (yes - he really can be called the nutty
professor!). As a consultant and trainer, Dave has been featured on PBS
Television and Radio, Insidebiz.com Magazine, U.S. News and
Report, and others. |
|

|
Tired of making his hometown a vacation
spot every year, Dave relocated from Hollywood to Northern Ohio. He
currently lives on the South Shore of Lake Erie, (North Coast of Ohio),
with his wife, Debutante Deb, sons Chaos Kevin and Dangerous Paul, and a
large dog named Snickers who is fond of eating television remote
controls. |
